Spring Arrivals

Spring is here and everything is new again!

We're stepping away from the heaviness and restrictions of Winter and stepping lightly into Spring. We see the change on the street. Our Spring clothes are more vivid and graphic and fun to wear. We're enjoying ice cream cones on the street. And colourful Spring flowers join in the parade.

The colourful Daisy is the primary birth flower for April, symbolizing purity, new beginnings, true love. They are a joyous reminder that hope springs eternal.

We've discovered a fascinating book Chromophobia by David Batchelor. This book enlightens us about the importance of colour in history, its symbolic meanings, and how much colour affects cultural and intellectual thought, and our well-being. Well worth the read.
