While they may have been helped in the beginning, these five exceptional women have proven themselves, endured and shine on their own. Laura Dern's multiple awards include an Academy Award, an Emmy, a BAFTA and Golden Globes. Dern is an activist and supporter of various charities. Her Hollywood parents are the actors Diane Ladd and Bruce Dern.
Angelica Huston, actor and director, has received a multitude of awards. She supports numerous charities, organizations and institutions. PETA, the animal rights organization, named Angelica their Person of the Year in 2012. Huston is the daughter of John Huston, film director, screenwriter and actor.
Actress Isabella Rossilleni is involved in many conservation efforts and is president and director of the Howard Gilman Foundation. She is a member of the Wildlife Conservation Network. She is also the daughter of cinema royalty: Ingrid Bergman and Roberto Rossellini.
At the age of 10, Tatum O'Neal became the youngest person to win an Academy Award. Along with other academy award winners, O'Neal appeared in a movie about Alzheimer's, Not To Forget (2021). Film stars Ryan O'Neal and Joanna Moore are Tatum's parents.
Liza Minnelli is a multi-talented actor, singer, dancer and choreographer. She has won an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar, and a Tony. Minnelli has served on various charities and causes. Her parents are Judy Garland and Vincent Minnelli. The names LAURA, ANGELICA, ISABELLA, TATUM AND LIZA have brightened the marquees, we’ve watched them shine, and we love them for all their creative output.
