Tall Women Get Respect

It’s the beginning of October and Autumn’s paints with a rich palette. At harvest time, we’re reminded that we live off the land. Nature’s bounty is on display at Fall fairs, festivals and outdoor markets. The country comes into the city creating a time for sharing and community. Often it is a time to gather with friends and loved ones.

What an amazing summer it’s been so far. July has been a colourful month, many festivals celebrating our lives in the city and in the world. We’re traveling, we’re on the road, cycling, sailing, partying, dancing, looking for adventure…and sometimes we’re just enjoying the breezes. Summer is a time to celebrate with friends and a time to make new friends. Friends are anywhere we find them, sometimes in unexpected places.

Summer is only two steps away and we’re in the city. Construction season has begun, but nature’s resistance is seen in the pavement cracks and the earthy smell of its green ambition is everywhere. We are itching to wander… fabulously.
